Some people live so fully and completely you wonder if they were secretly given extra time everyday to master all of their skills when we weren’t looking. Perhaps we were all sleeping. An artful acrobat, the kindest collaborator, could absolutely shred on the keys. Had I had one more conversation with him I might’ve learned he could speak to birds. Here’s our friend Raph stepping in on a moments notice for the rooftops sequence he created with Shana Carroll, as I and many others looked on in awe.

Unable to attend the organized marching today, fortunately because I was participating in a reading of a gorgeous new play by a powerful female playwright, Tracy Carns, who crafted a lush, complex, heart-breaking world of the fierce actress Jean Seberg, played by the unarguably fiercer actress, Elizabeth A. Davis. Inspired by these women, I take a solitary march home from the East Village across the Manhattan Bridge with the dulcet tones of my favorite Laura Marling in my ears. #SemperFemina
